The seventeenth session of the Paris Paralympic Games will begin on Wednesday, August 28 and will run from August 28 to September 8.
38 Moroccan athletes will defend their national colours, aspiring to achieve convincing results and win important titles at this international event.
Moroccan athletes represent athletics (physically disabled and visually impaired), chair tennis (physically disabled), powerlifting (small stature), para-taekwondo, road cycling and futsal for the blind.
It is worth noting that Morocco has won 38 medals during its participation in the Paralympic Games, since their launch in 1988 in Seoul, including 16 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze.
Athletics monopolized most of the medals, winning 34, while swimming (Seoul 1988), triathlon (Rio 2016), powerlifting (London 2012) and blind futsal (Tokyo 2020) settled for bronze.
