A. Latif Baraka: Heba Press
Reliable sources told “Heba Press” that several members of the central office of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights have submitted a collective resignation.
According to the same sources, six members of the Central Bureau of the Human Rights Association submitted their resignations and did not attend its last meeting held last week, confirming that most members of the Left Federation were extremely angry with Aziz Ghali, due to his clash with the Democratic Confederation of Trade Unions, in addition to the crisis he created with the teachers because of his statements when he described them as “thirsty” for their involvement in the census process.
The sources revealed that the anger extended to the members of the Nahj Democratic Party, due to the crisis with the teachers, as its union branch, the National University for Democratically Oriented Education, found itself in great embarrassment because of Ghali’s statements, especially since the same union built its balance of struggle at the expense of large categories of teachers, especially the so-called “teachers forced to contract.”
The sources point out that the association’s leaders have repeatedly tried to persuade Ghali to stop making “populist” statements that insulted him, but he has not taken the matter seriously, and his media appearances have become even more embarrassing. According to the sources, Ghali has “boycotted” the association’s meetings, citing his concerns.
The sources revealed that Aziz Ghali had one day decided to “leave” the association’s WhatsApp group, after a heated discussion about the situation in which AMDH had reached during his term.
The sources indicated that the angry leaders are only waiting for the end of his term, to get out of the current situation, because the influence of the association has decreased considerably, while Ghali is beginning to like to appear a lot, even if he takes into account the objectives and orientations of the association, because the association has been forced in many situations to resort to media disinformation for the sake of covering its positions that contradict the principles of the association, as happened when the association denied in unsigned statements that it had filed a lawsuit. a human rights lawyer and considered that the complaint had been filed by one of its members in a personal capacity, stating at the time the opposite, and that he had become a civil party and had obtained a symbolic dirham.
