“Lina Akdour” is the guest of honor at the Saudi exhibition “Fashion and Tex”

The international fashion, textile and fashion exhibition “Saudi Fashion and Tex” opened its activities in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in the presence of a significant presence of ambassadors, diplomatic delegations, media figures, businessmen and pioneers of international companies.
The opening was attended by Ambassador Ahmed Farouk, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom, Ambassador of Pakistan, Deputy Ambassador of Morocco Abdullah Al-Kahia and Commercial Counselor at the Turkish Embassy, Mustafa Ilker Ordem, In addition to Sheikh Mohammed Al Murshid, First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, and Egyptian journalist Tariq Allam, the guest of honor of the exhibition is the Moroccan artist and the youngest entrepreneur in the Arab world. , Lina Akdour.
Dr. Mohamed Al-Sharif, Director of the exhibition, welcomed the participants, including ambassadors, businessmen, media personalities and models, stressing the importance of this edition of the exhibition, which brings together more than 300 exhibitors from 18 countries.
Al-Sharif stressed that the exhibition is the largest specialized fashion event in the Kingdom and will continue until August 29, 2024, thus strengthening its role as a platform to showcase the latest trends and explore developments in the textile market.
The opening was also attended by Mohamed Abdel Salam, President of the Egyptian Chamber of Ready-to-Wear and Textiles, and Hassan Berkani, President of the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Casablanca.
This event is organized by Pyramids Group in cooperation with the Riyadh Chamber and with the support of the Readymade Garments Export Council, the Chamber of Ready-made Garments and Furnishing Industry and a group of leading companies in the Kingdom such as “Al-Daffah”, “Konoz”, “Cottonsil” and “Italiano”.
The exhibition is expected to attract more than 18,000 professional visitors, making it an important opportunity to increase brand awareness and expand the network of relationships between professionals in the fashion world. Moroccan heritage is also celebrated as a guest of honor, with the participation of a special delegation, highlighting certain aspects of Moroccan cultural heritage through fashion shows that reflect originality and innovation.
