Rabat: Four years in prison for the owner of a “channel” who allegedly exploited a minor by publishing pornographic cassettes

The Criminal Chamber of First Instance of the Rabat Court of Appeal ruled in the case of human trafficking and sexual exploitation targeting a minor girl, after she was forced to film and shoot pornographic scenes with foreigners from the Gulf via Skype technology, in which three people were punished, including her adoptive mother.
The main accused was sentenced to four years in prison and the girl’s mother to one year in prison and a fine of 5,000 dirhams, while a third defendant in the same case was sentenced to six months in prison and a fine of 5,000 dirhams.
The court prosecuted the three defendants, each according to the charge attributed to them, for human trafficking, luring and recruiting a minor girl under 12 years of age after luring her by fraudulent means and exploiting the state of weakness and fragility to make sexual offers on social media sites, especially through platforms (TikTok and YouTube), while continuing. The court accused the defendants of failing to report a crime and homosexuality, in addition to failing to report a crime and benefiting from a service in exchange for money, this is the charge that weighed on the adoptive mother of the minor, who was included in the file on the condition of being released with the second defendant, who was sentenced only to six months.
