Despite border closures, immigration to occupied Ceuta attracts dozens of Algerians
Associative sources from the city of Fnideq have mentioned the influx of dozens of Algerian immigrants wishing to try to infiltrate through the occupied border of Ceuta.
Spanish newspapers also highlighted the dissemination of videos of Algerians inside occupied Ceuta encouraging people to immigrate, which contributed to the influx of some foreign immigrants, mostly Algerians, to the city of Fnideq with the intention of infiltrating the Ceuta enclave as -Salib.
A few days ago, the occupied city of Ceuta witnessed numerous infiltration attempts by irregular migrants who took advantage of the thick fog to cross and swim to the occupied port, where most of them were returned and tried in the city of Tetouan.
The security authorities of Fnideq have started to fence off the sides of the city in order to limit the infiltration of illegal immigrants towards the beaches.
