Sherine Abdel Wahab is facing a new problem. This is her message to her followers.
Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab is facing a new problem, closing her social media accounts, after deleting her songs.
In a new and surprising development, Sherine’s account was deleted on the social media platform ‘Facebook’ just two weeks after it was created, while she created a new account on the platform ‘Tik Tok’ and invited her fans to interact with it.
Sherine sent out invitations to her Instagram followers on Saturday to visit her new TikTok account.
Sherine’s account, via TikTok, has reached over a million followers as it includes short clips of her new song, which she recently released after a period of absence.
This comes after only 4 days of trying to overcome the process of removing her new songs from the platforms, through an invitation she made to her followers and fans to publish her songs on their different platforms and accounts.
Sherine said: “To all my beloved fans in Egypt and the Arab world, please share and retweet the songs from my new album. Let’s celebrate together and be happy. I am waiting for your beautiful videos so that we can celebrate.”
Using the Instagram platform’s “Story” feature, Sherine posted 15 videos on Saturday of her fans’ interaction with her songs.
Sherine Halat has received widespread support from her fans and supporters, especially after her recent spat with Rotana and the deletion of her songs.
It is worth noting that Sherine Abdel Wahab has launched new social media accounts in recent days and warned her fans against posting any content on her old official social media accounts or her old YouTube channel, as it no longer belongs to her.
YouTube removed 4 songs by Sherine Abdel Wahab a few hours after they were released on the platform, and Reda Saqr, Rotana’s legal advisor, said in an exclusive interview with “24” that all songs published by the artist Sherine will be immediately deleted, as they violate the terms of the contract signed with the company.
