Sunday weather: rain showers in these areas

Today, Sunday, the General Directorate of Meteorology expects thunderstorms to fall locally on the Mediterranean and the Grand Atlas, on their south-eastern slopes, and on the south of the eastern region.

The weather is also expected to remain relatively warm in the eastern region and in the plains adjacent to the High Atlas highlands, as well as in the far south and southeast of the country.

Further light and local rains will be observed in the morning on the western coasts of the Mediterranean and the central coasts.

Fog masses will also form in the morning and at night over the northern and central plains as well as in the northern desert and eastern regions.
Dust is also expected to fly in the south of the eastern region and in the south-east of the country, with fairly strong wind gusts recorded in the south of the eastern region, the Grand and Middle Atlas, the south-east and the centre and the southern coasts.

As for minimum temperatures, they will range between 13 and 18 degrees in the High Atlas, and between 23 and 29 degrees in the extreme south and southeast of the country, and will be between 17 and 23 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.

Daytime temperatures will be high in the interior plains and eastern desert regions, while they will be low in the rest of the regions.

The sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean coast, and slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast.
