Political analyst: Al-Halimi must set an end point to his path

Political analyst Omar Al-Sharqawi said that Siyi Ahmed Lahimi is a virtuous statesman who gave his all for his country and his king, but after six decades of a busy political career, whether as a member of the opposition, a minister in the Socialist Union robes, or a civil servant in the attire of a technocrat, it is time for him to rest and take some well-deserved rest.

Omar Al-Sharqawi added in a brief Facebook post: “Responsibilities have a reasonable duration and positions have a period of validity, and when a person grows old and his health deteriorates, as seems to be the case with Sy Lahmi in his last appearance, trying to wear his hat, he must end his path and go out the front door… Going out the window is a fate he does not deserve.”

Before this statement, Mohamed Al-Ghaloussi, president of the Moroccan Association for the Protection of Public Funds, had already addressed the same subject by stating: “In our beautiful country, you can remain at your post despite the illness that takes hold of you, your use of all the medications, your hands shaking in front of the cameras and the appearance of all the signs of dementia.

Before concluding his message, he mentioned “the High Commissioner for Veterans of the Resistance and the Liberation Army / the High Commissioner for Planning / the President of the Higher Council of Education, concluding his speech by saying: “Unfortunately, our country is sterile.”
