Wehbe: “Alimony is imposed on the woman, unless her financial income is higher than that of her ex-husband.”

Justice Minister Abdel Latif Wehbe stressed the need to reconsider the issue of child support after divorce.

Wehbe said in an interview with Channel 2 “Dozim”: “We need to know the situation of women and men in order to know who is affected.
If Ella has a higher financial income than a man, she will have to pay alimony.

Wehbe added: “We are discussing this point to achieve balance and justice… where we say there is a comparison between us and everything.”
