Strong statements from Ezzedine Ounahi after his transfer to Greek Panathinaikos

Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi has made strong statements after joining Greek club Panathinaikos, arriving on loan from French side Olympique Marseille.

Onahi said in a statement: “I went through some tough times last season. It was difficult for me. I suffered an injury and I was faced with personal problems, I didn’t work hard enough and I take responsibility for that.

He adds: “I received big financial offers, but I chose the best destination to get back to my level.”

He continued: “There were things that would have ended my football career, but I think I chose the best destination, and I will give everything to this team to contribute something.”
