Ain Atiq gendarmerie puts an end to the activity of a “drug gang”

Yesterday, Wednesday, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie at the Ain Atiq Center of the Temara Police put an end to the activity of a criminal gang active in the field of drug trafficking, thefts and roadblocks.

The members of this gang were arrested after using information that led to the seizure of a quantity of Shera, cocaine and bladed weapons, as well as two cars and a motorcycle used for the purposes of theft and contraband trafficking.

During the in-depth investigation, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, the main element was arrested, which subjected the detainees to theoretical custody measures, due to the necessity of the investigation, pending their presentation to the attention of the public. Prosecution.

It should be noted that the aforementioned operation is part of the operational strategy of the regional command services of the Royal Gendarmerie of Rabat, aimed at combating all forms of drug-related delinquency and drying up their sources.
