Regarding the protection of individual information, the High Commissioner explained that the laws and values governing the work of statistical institutions in Morocco and around the world totally prohibit access by any organization, whatever its authority, to any information or statement from any person who has participated in statistical research.

He added that the ongoing census is characterized by the use of modern technologies to protect the data collected while respecting security and confidentiality requirements, as encryption techniques are used to ensure the security of information exchanged between the electronic panels and the data center.

It is worth noting that the process of collecting information from families, which is part of the seventh process of the General Population and Housing Census, in all regions of the Kingdom, began last Sunday and will continue until the 30th of this month.
