The Casablanca Stock Exchange began its trading today, Thursday, on a rise, with its main index "MASI" recording an increase of 0.44 percent to settle at 18,451.98 points.
The "MASI.20" index, which reflects the performance of 20 companies listed on the stock exchange, recorded an increase of 0.37 percent to 1,501.94 points, while MASI.ESG, the index of companies with the best rating, achieved a gain of 0.67 percent to 1,254.75 points. The "MASI Mid and Small Cap", the index of the performance of the prices of small and medium-sized companies listed on the stock exchange, recorded an increase of 0.05 percent to 1,794.82 points. On the individual value level, the strongest increases were recorded by Managem (+3.21% to 6,069 dirhams), Alliance (+2.91% to 579.9 dirhams), Desti Technologies (+2.83% to 359.9 dirhams), Sonasid (+2.18% to 2,340 dirhams) and Hiteck Payment Systems (+1.9% to 535 dirhams). In contrast, the strongest declines were recorded by Med Paper (-4.47% to 27.6 dirhams), Carti Saada (-3.89% to 34.11 dirhams), Sanlam Morocco (-3.7% to 1,902 dirhams), Transport (-3.3% to 52.7 dirhams) and Autohall (-2.01% to 92.1 dirhams). The "MASI" index had ended trading yesterday, Wednesday, with an increase of 0.12 percent.
