Achraf Hakimi puts an end to the controversy and decides on the future of Paris Saint-Germain

Press reports have revealed that Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi has made a final decision regarding his future with his current French club, Paris Saint-Germain.

According to the website “Foot Mercato”, citing the French newspaper “Le Parisien”, Achraf Hakimi has informed his agents of his intention to continue with Paris Saint-Germain, emphasizing his strong attachment to the club in the French capital.

Moroccan Achraf Hakimi is considered one of Paris Saint-Germain’s most experienced players at the moment, and the 25-year-old is a mainstay of the team under renowned Spanish coach Luis Enrique.

Achraf Hakimi has made 123 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain so far, contributing 35 goals (scoring 15 goals and providing 20 assists), according to data from global website ‘Transfer Market’.

Hakimi won 6 titles with the Parisian team. With 3 titles in the French League, two titles in the Champions Cup (French Supercup), and one title in the French Cup.

It seems that Achraf Hakimi wants to write new chapters of success during his career at Paris Saint-Germain, and that is why the Arab player has started negotiations to renew his contract with the club, according to the French press.

In recent months, Hakimi has been mooted over the possibility of returning to his former club, Real Madrid, after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires on June 30, 2026, but the Moroccan international has decided to stay longer at the “Parc des Princes”, according to observers.

Hakimi is spending his fourth consecutive season at Paris Saint-Germain, having joined the French club in the summer of 2021 from Inter Milan in Italy for €68 million.
