Brawl in Marrakech movie theater leads to arrest of minor

The Juvenile Division of the State Directorate of the Judicial Police of the city of Marrakech opened, yesterday evening, Friday September 13, a judicial investigation under the direction of the competent public prosecutor’s office, with a view to determining the circumstances of the threat of violence between a group of minors in a movie theater.

According to preliminary data from the investigation, some minors entered into a misunderstanding due to a large crowd at the first screening of a film, which resulted in a chance dispute due to the possession and advertising by one of the minors of a black metal toy in circumstances that posed a threat to the safety of the minors.

The minor in question, aged 15, was arrested and the coin, which is a toy that opens on three sides, was seized as part of the judicial investigation carried out in this case.
The recorded data indicate that at the end of this stage of the research, no complaints of violence had been recorded by any potential victim, except for the case of a feeling of fear caused by the possession by the arrested minor and the exhibition of the piece of metal seized in the context of this case.
