A delegation of Moroccan businessmen from the textile and clothing sector will carry out a trade mission to Barcelona on October 18 and 19, to explore business opportunities and study ways to strengthen bilateral economic relations.
A statement from the organizers said the objective of the mission, organized by the Textile Industry Alliance, is to enable Spanish textile and clothing manufacturers to establish business relations with their Moroccan counterparts.
The program includes presentations on investment opportunities offered by Morocco and cross-border cooperation between the two countries, in addition to holding meetings between companies with a view to establishing future partnerships, according to the same source.
The statement added that the mission also includes visits to textile factories in the Barcelona region and meetings with local economic and institutional players.
The mission is organized in cooperation with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce of Tangier, the Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing Industries and the Regional Investment Center of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
