The murder of a Moroccan immigrant in the Italian city of Viareggio has sparked anger among his family and members of the Moroccan community, who express fears that the killer will escape punishment under some Italian laws.
A shocking video clip showed businesswoman Cinzia Dal Pino, 65, as a Moroccan man named Noureddine Naziki, 52, was driving past a storefront when her car suddenly appeared and quickly hit him, then drove back and forth four times before Dal Pino appeared wearing high-heeled shoes, calmly got out of her car, picked up her bag and drove away.
Paramedics were called to the scene and Naziki was taken to hospital, but he later died of his injuries, according to “Daily Mail” .

Dal Pino admitted to police that she chased him and wanted to retrieve his bag, which contained his house keys, phone and personal documents, and that she was placed under house arrest after the crime.
Dal Pino told police: “He threatened to kill me with a knife. I was scared, I didn’t want to kill him, I just wanted to get my bag back which contained important documents and I couldn’t call the police because my phone was in it.
Police later revealed that they had not found a knife on Nazicchi and initially held Dal Pino in jail on suspicion of manslaughter before releasing her to house arrest. Her lawyer, Enrico Marzadori, dismissed the video, saying there were no tire marks on the body.
He added: “She just wanted to stop him and was aiming for his legs. She is in pain for what she did and feels remorse for what happened.”

But the local archbishop, Msgr. Paolo Giolitti, said: “Apart from self-defense, the video shows strange behavior, how can you drive your car over someone’s body several times? How can you imagine that a calm, respectable and enterprising woman is capable of such work? Evil triumphs when it makes us evil. Those who rejoice because this episode will be an episode of self-defense prove how evil triumphs: we must not rejoice, it is not self-defense, and it is not justice. , absolutely nothing can justify murder. It is not simply because we live in a state of law. But because every person, in every situation in which they find themselves, has the right to life.
The Naziki family demanded “justice” and said: “Even an animal is not killed in this way.”
She added: “She ran him over four times and then walked away as he was dying and didn’t even call for help.”
Meanwhile, a sign appeared on a construction site in Viareggio reading: “He who has money has power, and the law is not equal for everyone.”
