Recently, members of the Royal Gendarmerie of Zayou brought one of the most dangerous drug traffickers, known as “Aqqa”, aged 33, before the public prosecutor at the court of first instance of Nador, for forming a network specializing in the possession and possession of narcotics, promotion of “Shera” and Indian cannabis, with repeated criminal activity.
According to an informed source to Heba Press, the accused was arrested based on specific information provided by an informant, which helped the judicial police to ambush him at the “Al-Fawares” roundabout, affiliated with the Awlad Stout group. It is noteworthy that the accused was under investigation under more than 10 national and local search warrants issued by various security and gendarmerie agencies in Nador province.
During the inspection, security officers discovered quantities of the drugs “Shera” and “Keif”, as well as a sum of money suspected to be the proceeds of this criminal activity. After checking his identity in the wanted persons database, it was confirmed that the accused was the subject of several search warrants. He was placed in theoretical custody on the instructions of the public prosecutor, who ordered an investigation against him.
After the detainee was presented to the prosecutor, he was placed in the local prison of Silwan, while the judicial police continued their investigations and issued search warrants against his potential accomplices. It is worth noting that the accused had previously escaped the grasp of the security authorities, as he moved cautiously to avoid arrest, until the Royal Gendarmerie of Zayo managed to locate and arrest him.
This operation is part of the sanitation campaigns supervised by the regional command of the Royal Gendarmerie in Nador, aimed at eliminating drug networks in the region, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
