The General Directorate of Meteorology indicated on Wednesday that thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusts of wind are expected from tomorrow, Thursday to Sunday, in several regions of the Kingdom.
The management explained, in a tribal bulletin which will be followed by warning weather bulletins including more details on the severity and extent of this phenomenon, that these heavy downpours, which will locally exceed 50 mm/24 hours, will affect Smara, Assa Al. -Zag and Tata, from tomorrow Thursday at three o’clock in the afternoon until Sunday at eleven o’clock in the evening.
The same source adds that the provinces of Ouarzazate, Guelmim, Sidi Ifni, Tiznit, Boujdour and Taroudant could also experience strong storms locally during the same period.
