Moroccan international Sofiane Rahimi is set to take part with his Emirati team Al Ain against New Zealand’s Auckland City tomorrow, Sunday, in the Club Confederations Cup competition.
Emirati team Al Ain are counting on their Moroccan star Sofiane Rahimi in the confrontation in order to secure victory against Auckland City and progress to the next round.
If they win tomorrow’s match, Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates will meet their Egyptian counterparts Al-Ahly in the quarter-finals on October 29.
It is worth noting that the Club Confederations Cup is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and its system is not much different from the previous Club World Cup system.
The difference between the Club Confederations Cup and the old Mundialito system remains limited to the decentralization of matches, after they were organized by a single country, the matches of this new competition take place in different countries.
