Young Moroccan striker, Amine Ouazzani, continues to shine with Portuguese club Sporting Braga in the new 2024-2025 football season, which could increase his chances of joining the ranks of the Moroccan national team and competing with Youssef En-Nesyri for the striker position.
Ouazzani, who joined the Portuguese League side in the last summer transfer window from French club Guingamp, has put in some exceptional performances in his debut season in Europe’s top division.
He was outstanding in the last match against Nacional, where he came on in the second half and helped create the opening goal with a backheel assist, before adding his team’s third goal, confirming his attacking capabilities.

Al-Wazzani’s brilliance comes at a time when Youssef En-Nesyri is suffering a dip in form with Turkish club Fenerbahce, having scored just one goal so far this season, amid criticism from the Turkish team’s fans. This patchy performance could open the door for Ouazzani to book his place in the national team in the coming period.
Thanks to his remarkable offensive contributions, where he scored five goals and provided an assist, Ouazzani is currently considered one of the best Moroccan scorers in the European leagues, making him one of the names strongly nominated to join the “Atlas Lions” soon.
