João Paulo Sampaio, director of the academy of the Brazilian club Palmeiras, has revealed exciting details in the contract of the player Endrik, recently transferred to Real Madrid, highlighting that each goal scored by the player costs the Madrid club 300 thousand euros (approximately 300 million cents).
Endrik has appeared in 6 matches for Real Madrid since his arrival last summer, where he has scored two goals and assisted another goal in various tournaments.
In his statements reported by the Spanish newspaper “Marca”, Sampaio said: “The bonus clause for goals in Edrik’s contract could bring the value of the deal to 60 million euros.” He added: “We receive one and a half million euros for five goals scored by Andrek, and his arrival in the Brazilian national team for the first time after joining Real Madrid adds another one and a half million euros, but we will not make money if he wins the Ballon d’Or.
Regarding the discovery of Indrik’s talent, Sampaio explained: “I watched a video of him at a tournament in Sao Paulo, but the club refused to provide the amount requested by his family. Later, I was able to agree with his father to offer him a job opportunity and some money for his mother.
He concluded his speech by saying: “Chelsea were interested in signing him, and indeed his father went to London, but when the opportunity to join Real Madrid arose, the player preferred to go to Spain.”
