The Kazakh indoor football team achieved a resounding surprise at the “Uzbekistan 2024” World Cup, eliminating the reigning champion, the Portuguese team.
The Kazakh national team managed to defeat Portugal with a score of (2-1) in the match which took place on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
With this victory, Kazakhstan secures its qualification for the quarter-finals, eliminating one of the strongest teams in the match.
The match was equal since regulation time ended in a draw (1-1), but Kazakhstan scored the winning goal in the final moments, just 14 seconds from the end of the match.
