Heba Press: Tiznit
Heba Press learned of the emergence of a case of an epidemic of “menangitis”, or what is called meningitis, after the appearance of its first symptoms in a student studying in a public school in the urban area of the city from Tiznit.
The incident triggered the presence of the establishment’s health services upon their discovery of the case after carrying out the required examinations, after the injured student was transferred to the Hassan I Regional Hospital in the city of Tiznit to receive necessary first aid.
The responsible medical authorities also intervened to vaccinate all of the student’s colleagues as well as the staff of the establishment in anticipation of any emergency.
The “victim” student presented symptoms of this epidemic, after his condition was diagnosed and he was placed under observation in order to closely monitor his condition, as well as his colleagues and school staff.
