The police headquarters of the National Security of Rabat opened, today Thursday, October 3, a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, to elucidate all the circumstances and motives of the death of a police officer, who allegedly ended his life using his service weapon.
The body of the deceased police officer was found in the front seat of his car, bearing traces of a gunshot wound with his service weapon, according to ballistic tests carried out.
The judicial investigation is currently trying to determine the motivations and background of this incident, especially since the deceased police officer was the subject of legal proceedings for his involvement in a road accident with injuries on October 1 last and that he was not insured.
