Bags of scorpions, snake skins, stuffed animals and boxes of turtles, as well as other unidentified items, as well as women’s and men’s clothing probably belonged to the sorcerer’s victims.
The arrested magician, according to sources on site, sold “donkey tongue” to his clients for 500 dirhams each, after making women believe that the “tongue” and its use by men always makes them silent and obedient towards their wives or mistresses, and that the process and its promotion among women increased the demand for the sorcerer. Also, rural areas on the outskirts of the town of Sidi Bennour recorded the disappearance of the “donkey’s tongues” of the sorcerer’s victims, after these. were brought to him by people who supplied him with animal goods in exchange for sums of money which they received during each delivery of goods.
