Work continues to transform the former fruit and vegetable wholesale market in Tangier into a privileged exhibition space, with a progress rate of more than 80 percent.
The company in charge of the project to transform the wholesale market into a performance space is accelerating its work so that it is ready before the end of the year and to host a range of events and demonstrations in the city.
The project covers an area greater than two hectares and its total cost amounts to approximately 63 million dirhams, to which the Community of Tangier provided a financial envelope of approximately 30 million dirhams, the Regional Council of Tangier- Tétouan-Al Hoceima contributed the same amount, and then the Agency for the Revitalization and Development of the Northern Provinces made a contribution of around three million dirhams.
