In figures…the average salary in public employment will reach 9,500 dirhams per month in 2024

Wages in public employment in Morocco have improved significantly in recent years, with the average monthly salary increasing, according to several reports, including those included in the new finance bill.

In this regard, a human resources report from the same project indicates that the average monthly net salary in public employment increased from 7,300 dirhams in 2014 to 9,500 dirhams in 2024.

The average net monthly salary amounted to 5,203 dirhams for employees on scale 6 and its equivalent, and 6,512 dirhams for employees on scales 7 to 9, while it reached 11,178 dirhams for employees belonging to the executive category (scale 10 and above).
