Today Friday, the Saudi club Al-Shabab announced its official measures to protect the rights of its Moroccan player, Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah.
This happened after Hamdallah scored a goal in his team’s match against Al-Orouba, which ended with Al-Shabab winning 3-0, making it equal to the record Omar Al-Somah’s goals against 24 teams in the Saudi League.
But referee Ahmed Al-Rumaikhani indicated in his report that the goal was an own goal by Al-Orouba goalkeeper, meaning it will not be counted in Hamdallah’s name.
In this context, Turki Al-Ghamdi, official spokesperson for the Al-Shabab Club, said on Twitter that the administration intends to address the Referees Committee of the Saudi Federation and seize the Professional League regarding this question.
