The immense popular welcome that French President Emmanuel Macron will receive during his visit to Morocco, while the streets of the capital, Rabat, through which the official procession will pass, are filled with hundreds of thousands of citizens.
The streets of Rabat were decorated with Moroccan and French flags, and groups from all walks of life in Moroccan society flocked to the streets through which the official procession would pass, carrying photos of the king and the president of France.
The French president’s visit to Morocco promises to be historic, given his agenda, as well as the return of Moroccan-French relations to their normal path since France announced its position of explicit support for the Moroccan Sahara.
