The Democratic Union for Education and Training, member of the Federation of Democratic Unions, called on the Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Primary Education and Sports to urgently settle salaries of prisoners, men and women, as well as additional compensation. for teachers of secondary rehabilitation education.
This is what emerges from a letter sent by the Democratic Union for Education and Training to Mohamed Saad Barada, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Primary Education and Sports, concerning payment of salaries of suspended teachers.
The correspondence suggested that the National Office of the Democratic Union for Education and Training, as well as the entire educational community, were still following the repercussions of the crisis of the organic decree-law of the education sector and training on the status of a certain number of teachers, men and women, who have not received their salaries since January 2024 despite the resumption of their work.
She added that the secondary rehabilitation education teachers arrested during the educational movement at the beginning of this year and who returned to work did not benefit from the additional compensation for secondary rehabilitation education teachers either. .
The letter stated: “Given the advanced measures taken by the Ministry of National Education to digitize its administration and improve the efficiency and speed of the management of its structures and human resources, the insistence of the administration to deprive a group of teachers of salary for a period of more than ten months has no logical justification or administrative feasibility other than their dismissal. » Feelings of hatred and revenge that are not supposed to come from public institutions that derive their authority from the public interest.
