The National Social Security Fund exempts retirees from providing a life certificate

Heba Press/Rabat
The National Social Security Fund announced that retirees residing in Morocco will be exempt from the obligation to present a life certificate proving their survival, starting this year.
This exemption is based on an intangible system developed by the Fund, which is based on the electronic exchange of information and data with partner departments and institutions to verify the lives of beneficiaries. This system aims to save the time and effort of retirees. and save them the trouble of traveling to the Fund’s agencies to complete these procedures.
As for retirees residing abroad, the National Social Security Fund has confirmed that it will continue life monitoring procedures by sending a special publication which must be completed by the competent authority of the country of residence, with the signature and the official seal of the authority before returning it to the Fund.
