Speech by the King in the Green March: “There are those who seek an outlet in the Atlantic”

In a clear message contained in the royal speech, on the occasion of the forty-ninth anniversary of the Green March, addressed to opponents of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, there are those who seek an outlet in the Atlantic Ocean to the at the expense of the Moroccan Sahara, while the Kingdom has created an initiative for an outlet for all African countries in order to access the Atlantic Ocean within the framework of respect for Moroccan sovereignty.

The royal speech adds that there are those who live in another world and who demand a referendum, while Morocco is on its land and its legitimate right, which is linked to it through the kings and the allegiance of the inhabitants of the Moroccan Sahara, and the rebirth of development witnessed by the southern regions of the Kingdom.

In his speech on the occasion of the anniversary of the Green March, His Majesty continued the broad recognition of autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty.

In his speech, King Mohammed VI called on the United Nations to assume their responsibilities regarding the issue linked to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
