HM King Mohammed VI has decided to grant Moroccan nationality to two international mixed martial arts (UFC) fighters, the brothers Ismail and Islam Nurdiyev, originally from Chechnya, as part of an important step which reflects the strategic orientations of the Kingdom in terms of strengthening the national sports scene.
The official decision relating to this appointment was published in the Official Bulletin, number 7469, on November 4, 2024, thus strengthening Morocco’s position on the world sports scene.
