The Moroccan Front in Support of Palestine and Against Normalization denounced the reception by the Moroccan authorities of the ship “Maersk Denver” and its authorization to dock in the port of Tangier, where it arrived on November 9, 2024 at midnight.

A spokesperson for the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the ship “Maersk Denver”, which left New York on October 31, and the “Maersk Saltar”, which left New York on November 4, would not be allowed to dock in Spanish. ports, as they were suspected of transporting potentially dangerous weapons intended for Israel.
The move comes after Rep. Enrique Santiago called on the attorney general to take action against the ships, stressing that their entry into Spanish ports “represents a violation of the country’s penal code.”
