Johnny Depp reportedly dates his lawyer in defamation case

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is reportedly dating his attorney Joelle Rich, who represented him in his UK libel trial against The Sun, according to US media outlets.

The attorney was involved in his defamation case between Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard.

“The lawyer is married but separated at this time, and her divorce may not have been finalized yet,” said page six media outlet.

Depp won his defamation case on June 1st against his ex-wife Amber Heard at the Circuit Court in Fairfax Country, Virginia, after three days of deliberations.

The jury awarded him $15 million in damages, $10 million in compensatory damages, and $5 million in punitive damages in his defamation suit.

The jury also awarded Amber Heard, $2 million in compensatory damages on one of her legal team’s claims.

Since the beginning of this civil trial on April 11th, the defamation case between the two Hollywood stars has been immensely dominating people’s attention on social media, with the hashtag #justiceforJohnnyDepp going viral in support of Johnny.

Depp was suing Amber Heard for defamation because of a 2018 opinion article she wrote in the Washington Post describing herself as ”a public figure representing domestic abuse”, asking for 50 million dollars as compensation while Amber Heard was counter-suing him for $100 million.
