In a proactive approach to managing emergency situations, the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion organized, yesterday Wednesday April 17 from 10:30 a.m., a general evacuation exercise at its headquarters, located in downtown Rabat. . This exercise, organized in close collaboration with the Civil Protection of Rabat, responding to a regulatory requirement, essentially aimed to assess the mastery by the various employees of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion of the behavior and organization to be adopted in the event of an emergency. major disaster requiring the complete evacuation of the premises.
This initiative also made it possible to judge the effectiveness of the internal emergency evacuation management plan of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion in the face of various disaster scenarios.
It should be noted that this evacuation exercise for the headquarters of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion, occupying a high-rise building (IGH) spanning 12 floors, required the deployment of internal resources (emergency team, technical means, communication and display device, etc.) as well as external emergency services from civil protection which mobilized its crew and its means of intervention to respond to the alert message coming from the central security station (PCS) of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion as soon as possible. Thanks to the mobilization of all internal and external resources involved in this scenario, all of the occupants of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion headquarters were evacuated and directed securely to the designated assembly points.
Fallback test of critical users of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion
Alongside this exercise, Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion also tested its fallback plan by redirecting identified critical users to the
“user fallback site”. This process made it possible to ensure the continuity of operational processing in a delocalized manner, thus demonstrating CDG’s commitment to guaranteeing the continuity of its essential services, even in the event of a major incident.
The Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion plans to continue this dynamic of risk management and anticipation, through the conduct of regular evacuation and withdrawal exercises with or without prior internal notification. This proactive approach will allow the establishment to maintain a high level of preparation and responsiveness to any emergency situation, while ensuring the safety of its employees, customers and visitors and guaranteeing the continuity of its critical activities.
