As part of strengthening international air connectivity, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics took part in the 16th ICAO Air Services Negotiations Conference (ICAN 2024).
During this event, negotiations were held with 19 countries and were crowned by the initialing of 8 agreements on air services with Suriname, Georgia, Malawi, Somalia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Guinea Conakry and Benin as well as the signing of memoranda of understanding with Malaysia and Russia
In addition, bilateral consultations took place with Kazakhstan, Belarus, Cuba, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, and the United Arab Emirates which focused on different operational and cooperation aspects in air transport.
