The Angolan selection qualified for the final of the African Futsal Cup of Nations (CAN Morocco-2024), thus punching its ticket for the next World Cup, after its victory over its Egyptian counterpart by 7 goals to 3, in the semi-final, Friday at the Palais des Sports of the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
Angola’s goals were scored by Chico (2nd), Pesado (14th), Anderson (27th), Gomito (35th) and Hélber (38th, 39th, 39th), while Raheem (2nd, 19th) and Saeed ( 37th) scored for Egypt.
In the other semi-final, the Moroccan Futsal team defeated its Libyan counterpart in the semi-final of the African Cup of Nations (CAN Morocco-2024), Friday evening, by 6 goals to 0, opening the path to the final and a World Cup qualification planned in Uzbekistan.
Soufian El Mesrar and Bilal Bakkali, each with a double, as well as Youssef Jouad and Anas El Ayyane scored the goals for Morocco.
