Indeed, Jamal Allam is no longer the president of the Egyptian Football Federation. For a few days, the submission of files had been launched for the election of a new leader and Hany Abou Reda, 71 years old and member of the executive office of FIFA and also executive member of CAF, was the only one to present his candidacy. This time, Abou Reda seems to have new ambitions for the future.
Hany Abou Reda previously resigned in 2019, following the Egyptian national team’s fiasco at the Africa Cup of Nations.
