The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has just announced that the draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2024, which will be held in Morocco, will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Mohammed VI Technical Center, located in Salé, Morocco.
The ceremony will begin at 8:00 p.m. (local time) or 7:00 p.m. (GMT), and will be broadcast live on the main television channels in Africa as well as internationally. It will also be accessible on CAF’s digital streaming platform, CAF TV.
This draw is of capital importance, because it will determine the groups of the 12 best national women’s selections on the African continent.
The 13th edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will take place from July 5 to 26, 2025 in Morocco, providing a new opportunity to celebrate the excellence of women’s football on the continent.
It should be remembered that South Africa, defending champion, triumphed in the previous edition, also organized on Moroccan soil, in 2022.
