The association stressed in a press release that human trafficking is a serious crime and an illegal activity, linked to the financial and moral exploitation of individuals, stressing that this activity includes men, women and children, who become victims of brutal exploitation at the mercy of human rights. Traffickers and organized gangs, which is often practiced, these actions are carried out through coercive methods such as kidnapping, luring or threats, and the victims are exploited in humiliating acts for the benefit of their traffickers.
The association pointed out that a recording of a telephone call between one person and another was broadcast on social networks. The owner of the video claims that the case is linked to the process of selling the bodies of a group of people, the price of which is fixed. for each individual.
The video indicates that one of the customers among the buyers is a Saudi and others of different nationalities. This person’s content also includes the publication of videos containing questionable marriages, in addition to campaigns of insults, defamation and slander against male and female citizens. , which causes a violation of public decency.
In light of these data, the Moroccan Association for Citizenship and Human Rights decided to take legal measures, by sending a complaint to the Attorney General, after confirming that these activities are part of an organized crime which takes place closely through social networks.
