Today, November 18, the search engine “Google” celebrated with the Moroccan people the 69th anniversary of the Kingdom’s independence, by decorating its home page in the colors of the Moroccan flag.
Google displayed its Doodle logo on the homepage, where the Moroccan flag fluttered against a yellow-orange sky.
Users can click on the drawing to obtain various information about this important historical milestone in the Kingdom’s history.
This glorious anniversary, in the midst of the construction of the modern Moroccan edifice, is enough for the speech of the Father of the Nation, His Majesty the late Mohammed V, proclaiming the end of the protection system and the liberation of the homeland.
Upon his return from exile to the country with his royal family, on November 18, 1955, His Majesty the late Mohammed V announced the end of the French system of guardianship and protection and the dawn of freedom and independence, thus embodying the transition from “the battle of the small jihad to the battle of the big jihad” and the victory of the revolution.
