Italian Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, praised the performance of Moroccan international Ibrahim Diaz during Liverpool’s match which took place yesterday Tuesday at Anfield, despite the Spanish team losing by two unanswered goals in the fifth round of the Champions League.
In his statements at the post-match press conference, Ancelotti said: “Ibrahim Diaz played well and contributed greatly to the team. Arda Guler also performed well defensively, but needed more precision as he has great potential. He is still a young player and needs more experience.
Ibrahim Diaz started in the match and was close to scoring a goal for his team, as he managed to threaten Liverpool goalkeeper Caimhin Kelleher, but he missed the finishing touch, just like it happened with the rest of the Real Madrid attackers in the match. .
