Akhannouch: “89% of requests to benefit from housing support accepted in the first place

The head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, informed today during the presentation of the partial assessment of his government before Parliament, that until February 19, 2024, 60,561 requests have been recorded to benefit from the royal program of direct support to the acquisition of the main accommodation.
In his speech, the head of government noted that 89% of applications were accepted during the first selection, which testifies to the significant interest of the targeted social categories, namely modest incomes and the middle class.
Akhannouch explained that the government launched a digital platform allowing beneficiaries to register online and follow their files remotely, in order to ensure effective governance of the financial aid granting process, as well as transparency. of the program and the simplification of the procedures to benefit from this support.
It should be noted that within the framework of this royal program, the government has allocated direct financial assistance of 100,000 dirhams for the acquisition of housing whose sale price is less than or equal to 300,000 dirhams, and 70,000 dirhams for the acquisition of housing whose price is between 300,000 dirhams and 700,000 dirhams. The program also targets Moroccan citizens residing inside or outside the country, who have never benefited from any housing assistance before.
