Launch of the Catheterization Unit at the Souissi Maternity Hospital in Rabat: rehabilitation and equipment policy for public health structures

The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Prof. Khalid Ait Taleb gave, Wednesday April 24, 2024, in the company of Prof. Raouf Mohsine, Director of the Ibn Sina University Hospital Center, and Prof. Houcine Maaouni, Director of the Souissi Maternity Hospital, the kick-off of the services of the Catheterization Unit at the Souissi Maternity Hospital affiliated with the Ibn Sina University Hospital Center in Rabat. The Minister also carried out a supervisory visit to the new administrative buildings.

This launch is part of the policy of rehabilitation and equipment of public health structures, in accordance with the Royal Instructions aimed at undertaking a radical and profound reform of the national health system in order to create conditions conducive to the implementation implementation of workshops to generalize health coverage and social protection.

As a result, the catheterization unit will strengthen the provision of specialized care and will also dedicate the efforts and commitment of the Kingdom of Morocco to providing quality medical services to patients..

It should be noted that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection has mobilized specialized human resources to ensure the medical and curative services provided to the targeted population by this health unit equipped with modern equipment and high quality biomedical devices.
