Heba Press – Marrakech
A massive fire broke out on the night of Wednesday, December 18 in the Bein Laqchali area, near Qantara Tarka, and spread throughout the night to consume 8 houses at the Elicro roundabout. The fire caused heavy material losses, but no casualties were recorded.
Two fire units intervened immediately after the start of the fire, in addition to the security authorities who took the necessary measures. Despite the considerable efforts made by firefighters to extinguish the fire, operations are continuing to bring the fire under control.
Note that local authorities have not yet issued precise estimates on the extent of the material damage, while firefighters continue their work to try to limit the expansion of the fire.
