Notice to our pilgrims: obtaining a permit for the Hajj has become obligatory

The Council of Grand Ulemas of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has just affirmed, in a press release, that obtaining a permit for the Hajj before going to the Holy Places to perform the pilgrimage has become obligatory, in compliance with the provisions of Sharia, while recalling that anyone who has not achieved this is considered exempt from this duty.

This obligation fits with the provisions of Islamic Sharia law which seeks to facilitate pilgrims in carrying out the rituals of the Hajj.
