After his expulsion from Genk because of the Moroccan national team, Moroccan talent Elias Bennane signs for a new team

Promising Moroccan footballer Elias Bennane has joined the ranks of Belgian club Anderlecht, a few weeks after being expelled from Genk for choosing to represent the Moroccan National Team rather than Belgium.

Bennane, 13, was signed by Anderlecht after his former club, Genk, terminated his contract in March, due to his refusal to play for the Belgian national team and opt for Morocco.

Bennane participated with the national under-15 team in the last training camp at the Mohammed VI Complex in Salé last March, and played in the two friendly matches with Zambia, scoring two goals.
