The work of preparing for the sports complex, Prince Moulay Abdullah in Rabat, has entered an important stage.
In the coming months, a new garage will be built in the south side of the boat, in addition to installing an advanced video control system on the ground at a total cost of 285 million dirhams. These works should be completed within three months.
On the other hand, restoration work in the field witnesses remarkable progress, because the project aims to be ready for employment as soon as possible.
Since 2023, the stadium has undergone complete overhaul and the work should be completed in 2025, before the start of the African Nations Cup 2025, with some improvements later in preparation for the 2030 World Cup accommodation.
The work includes the cover of all the stands with a wind resistant roof, which increases the capacity of the stadium from 53 thousand to 68,700 seats.
The areas are also added to the spectators of the first levels “VVIP” and the second “VIP”, in addition to allocating the premises to customers.
The stadium will be distinguished by its unique design, which is inspired by palm fronds, which combines local and modern technologies. It also reflects traditional Moroccan design using the art design art.
